Logo design, Illustration, art direction and photos for the albums Panamericana and their singles Su Melodia & La Esquina, by Federico Aubele, released by ESL Music. USA {2008} CASE STUDY The main concept of the album design is based on the Panamericana Road - the longest road in the world that stretches from South America to Canada. TTS has created a single map that traced the road using many maps covering each country. These are then merged together to produce Federico Aubele’s shape (taken from the press photos) and the American continent shape. Ultimately, both icons are conceptualised into one main logo for the complete set of singles and posters. This is the logo using Federico's shape taken from one photo I made in Barcelona of Federico and adding the America map shape. ![]() This is the result of the 2 shapes together. ![]() The logo was used mainly for the singles (with a variation below), ![]() ![]() ![]() The logo was used also for promotional T-shirts and stickers and pins. ![]() ![]() ![]() And here is the Panamericana digipack release ![]() ![]() The booklet insert shows a real map of the Panamericana road. ![]() |
